After checking the stock situation of galvanised finish 100mm post caps I ordered twenty online. They arrived within a couple of days - well packed in a large box. The caps are sturdy and have a thick layer of zinc galvanising - so should last many years. I fitted them onto my new deck's posts using stainless steel screws I already had. (Screws are not supplied with the caps). My posts are only 90mm square, so I used galvanised nuts as a 'spacer' to prevent the screws bending the caps. Very pleased with the result - much better than the original wooden caps (supplied by my builder) that all began to warp and split within a week of fitting.
